Radhika Apte boldly talks about Nudity in Parched movie

Actress Radhika Apte has never shied away from the camera or the media. At a launch event when a reporter questioned about her bold intimate scenes with Adil Hussain in the movie Parched she hit right back at the reporter.

He asked that “you have been quite successful in career but you know a kind of controversy being created before release of the film or the kind of bold role you accept.. is it necessary to become controversial or being bold for becoming a success actor?” to which the actress replied”Sorry, but your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by people like you. You saw the clip? you shared it with other people? you are the person that controversies are made out of.” She also further said that “I am an artist… if I am required to do a certain job then I will do it. If you get out of your cocoon and look at world cinema and what people are doing abroad and that too successfully, then you would have not probably asked this question.”

“I am not ashamed of anything. People who are embarrassed about their own body are curious about others’ bodies. So if you want to see a naked body tomorrow, see yourself in the mirror rather than my clip. Then only we can talk about this,” she added. Watch below video created by Movie Talkies.
